What we believe

Why we play

Con affetto is a marking in a score. It asks the player to play with affection. We take it literally.

Every audience deserves live music.

We bring free recitals to senior communities and other places around Nashua.

Every student deserves a stage.

One place on every program is kept for a student playing for an audience for the first time.

Every listener has a say.

Anyone can request a song, and a performer learns it by the next visit.

From the archive

Every recital has a printed program

Each piece, who is playing it and who asked for it. We keep every program, so the archive doubles as a record of what our performers have played.

How a recital runs

How long a recital runs depends on the program and the venue.

Request cards

Anyone can ask for a song. A performer learns it by the next visit, and the program says who asked for it.

A first-performance slot

One place on each program is kept for a student who has never played for an audience before.

A printed program

Everyone gets a printed program with the pieces, who is playing them and who requested them.

The same faces

We rotate through a small set of venues, starting with The Huntington at Nashua.
